Ed’s career spans over 38 years with a wide range of experience in the energy production, distribution and utilization fields. He began his career in contract and construction management at PPL’s fossil and nuclear plants. He moved into energy management with mid to large industrial and commercial energy users progressing to roles in field and staff positions in technical and management. He has also functioned as leader, manager and mentor in residential energy programs, economic development and new product development with a particular emphasis on textile, paper, food and chemical applications and other manufacturing applications. He has also been closely involved in a number of cogeneration feasibility evaluations. In addition to his work in the conventional energy arena, Ed was responsible for development and coordinating back office, financial, regulatory, order processing and IT services for several of PPL’s unregulated subsidiaries in retail electric supply and telecommunications businesses. Ed has worked in field and staff environments including sales, marketing, technical support and project management with numerous roles in management of small and large workgroups. He has developed and conducted a number of energy related training programs including power distribution and industrial process heating.

Recognition: Ed’s work has been recognized twice by the Edison Electric Institute Industrial & Commercial program. Projects included a campus wide energy review and improvement plan at Bloomsburg University and Woolrich Woolen Mills applying water source heat pumps in an office are using waste heat from the customer’s data processing center
