  • I worked with Fred Brazina @ PPL for over 15 yrs, and then worked with the Brazina Group on lighting projects recently (1-2 yrs ago). Fred was always a gentleman, a scholar, a leader, had a great sense of humor, and was a great friend. God bless him and his entire family during this difficult time. I won’t forget Fred’s smile and his laugh, which always made me smile/laugh.

I have known Fred for 50+ years and most recently had the pleasure of working with him on mini-reunions for high school friends. He was a gentleman and a friend in the truest sense of the word and I will miss him. He was so very kind and considerate and he made me laugh. • Dear Julie and Family – My heart goes out to all of you and I truly do not have the right words to extend to you. I have known Fred since our high school days but Fred became a really good friend when I moved to FL five years ago. We talked every week and I will miss those calls but mostly will miss him saying, “Talk to you soon Sweet Cheeks”. You don’t know how much you will be missed Freddy.Dot (Ruff) Johnson, Ocala, FL
  • To the Brazina family- Fred will be missed by everyone who know him. He always had a smile and was willing to help anyone. What a good way to be remembered.

  • Dear Julie – My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Fred was a great guy, a good friend, and he possessed a wonderfully playful sense of humor that always made being around him fun. We went to high school together but really didn’t become friends until the “Florida Dinners”. They will not be the same without him. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

  • Dear Julie and Family,I was shocked and saddened to hear that Fred had passed at such a relatively young age. He was so vibrant and enjoying life when I spoke to him within the past year. He and I were “stationed” with PP&L in both Hazleton and Lancaster and we developed a friendship that lasted for over 20 years. Fred was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to me as a just-out-of-college engineer. I have always been extremely grateful for his kindness. I remember how he spoke often about his children and grandchildren with great pride and how much he loved his wife. He was a lot of fun and will be missed by all who knew him. I miss him already and wish I had gotten a chance to say goodbye. With sincere sympathy for such a profound loss,

I’m very sorry to hear about Fred. I remember him driving around with his little blue Mazda Miata and his Mercedes diesel. He was a “good guy” and friendly neighbor. He will surely be missed. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • It was truly a privilege to have been part of such an extraordinary life. I am not sure what I did to deserve a place in the family that Fred made, but I couldn’t be more grateful. Since I was a child, he has been a father to me as if I was his own, and recently he has even filled the role of Grandfather to my boys. I treasured his wisdom, laughter, guidance and friendship through the years of my life. My heart can’t seem to accept what my head knows, that I will not have the pleasure of his company any longer and that he will not be here to delight in my children or his beloved family any more. I do believe that he will be watching over us all and bringing us safety and blessings in ways we cannot yet understand, just as he always tried to do in life. I love you, Fred, be in peace.
    Love,
    #4

  • To the entire Bazina family and extended family….my heart and prayers go out to you. I was just browsing the Northwestern Press and what a shock. Well, teenagers need angels and he will definately be able to fulfill that role for his grandchildren, however I’m sure you’d rather have him with you. All my love,
